RESUMEN

The purpose of this study was to determine the role, trend, and development of deep learning (DL) in education. The research method used is a bibliometric analysis method using the VOSviewer tool. VOSviewer is used to analyse the distribution of documents each year in various countries, institutions, journals, authors, and the relationship between keywords that appear. The results of this study show that the growth of publications on DL articles in the world of education increased by 31.69%, while the growth of DL articles as learning media increased by 11%. The most productive country in publishing articles related to DL in education is the United States with a total of 460 related documents and 13,162 citations. The most productive institution that researches DL in education is Stanford University with a total of 21 articles published. Furthermore, the most productive journal in IEEE Access with a total publication of 58,219 articles and a citation score of 4.8. The relationship between authors shows that the co-authoring network with Zhang Y. is the largest network with a total of 24 co-authored articles. The keyword that appears the most is the keyword "deep learning" which is directly related to "Data Analytics" and "AI". It is also seen that the topics that may arise for future research are topics related to the keyword "deep learning" which is related to "Virtual Reality" or "Educational Psychology". This research can be useful to find research gaps regarding the development or implementation of deep learning in the field of education to improve the quality of education and solving problems related to the world of education.

RESUMEN

Web-based learning is commonly applied in this post-covid era since it is believed to improve some students' thinking skills. One of the implementations is the use of e-low carbon media which was developed to assist students in studying low carbon. Therefore, evaluating the use of e-low carbon media user interface according to user experience is the aim of this current study. A questionnaire that was applied to measure subjective impressions of user experience is the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) which contains 6 rating scales, namely: Attractiveness, Perspicuity, Efficiency, Dependability, Stimulation, and Novelty. It consists of 26 question components with 7 answer choices. The results of UEQ data show that based on user experience e-low carbon media can be applied properly. © School of Engineering, Taylor's University.

RESUMEN

This article writing was due to environmental problems which are getting difficult to solve. Pandemic covid-19, is one of the factors in increasing the production of household organic waste which has a dangerous impact. PLORA with the eco enzyme method can be used as a solution. The aim of this program to increase students knowledge, and skills about processing household organic waste using the eco enzyme method. The method used in this study is to provide an instrument in the form of multiple choice questions as many as 15 questions at the beginning and end of the activity. The sample used in this study were 30 students. The results obtained from this study stated that there was an increase between the pre test and post test with a significance level of 0.003. Therefore, this research can be concluded could increase the knowledge, and skills of students after being given training in making eco enzymes or multipurpose fluids that are environmental friendly as a solution to create a sustainable environment with zero waste. The results of this study can be used as a learning material or a basis for further research. © 2022 American Institute of Physics Inc.. All rights reserved.

RESUMEN

Using ICT-based interactive learning media is a learning method that strongly supports the teaching and learning process for students and teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic. This ICT-based learning media must be easily accessible to teachers and students, and one of the interactive media that is easily accessible is android-based learning media. This development research aims to design android-based learning media on valid trigonometric material and improve students' mathematical critical thinking skills. This development research using the ADDIE model took 121 Ipeople consisting of expert validators, user (teacher), and students. The expert validators consisted of one mathematics education material expert and one ICT expert. Meanwhile, user represented by one mathematics teacher were involved in validating the use of the media design. In addition, there were participants from among students, which included 118 class X high school students throughout the Province of West Java, Indonesia, who took part in a limited trial phase of 20 people, an extensive trial of 50 people, and a product trial of 48 people. A sample of 118 students came from high school in the medium cluster. So, the reason for taking the sample represents the condition of students both on the island of Java and in Indonesia. The results showed that the developed android-based learning media was valid and could be used without revision with a combined percentage of 87.33%, with details of material experts at 84%, media experts at 92%, and validation by mathematics teachers at 86%. The results of the practicality test on students of 81% showed that the Android-based learning media design had a strong response, so the learning media made were very practical to use. The product test results show that the achievement of mathematical critical thinking skills of students who learn to use android-based learning media is better than those who learn not to use android-based learning media.

RESUMEN

A decrease in student readiness in Open Distance Learning (ODL) is among frequently observed problems, especially during a pandemic outbreak. And these issues could reduce students perceived usefulness of ODL implementation and reflect on academic performance. This study comes out with a new cluster in measuring readiness to perceived usefulness of ODL implementation that little study mentions;1) computer/Internet readiness (CIL), 2) self-directed learning readiness (SDL), and 3) motivational of learning readiness (MOL). The current study explored the impact of CIL, MOL, and SDL readiness on the perceived usefulness of ODL implementation. A survey method was conducted (n= 656) among full-time undergraduate students in UiTMCM. Using descriptive statistical analysis, this study found that technological readiness and sociological readiness among undergraduate students were a strong significant predictor of perceived usefulness of ODL implementation, while psychological readiness reported no significant predictor of perceived usefulness of ODL implementation. This study has a twofold significance. Firstly, the findings highly towards higher education institutions, especially for developing countries who experience ODL implementation. Besides, the findings presented to the Academic Affairs, UiTMCM to guide the lecturers in preparing the best ODL course design, implementation, and measurement so that students are will experience the best practice of the ODL approach. © 2021 Author(s).
